Miguel Sabol is an international education professional dedicated to fostering global connections through cultural exchange, citizen diplomacy, and inclusive programming. He serves as an International Education Advisor in the Global Education Office at the University of New Mexico, supporting international students and scholars from admission through post-graduation work authorization. A former Fulbright English Teaching Assistant in Brazil, Miguel has also worked with Instituto Cervantes Albuquerque, Ashoka’s Ayni Community, and Global Ties ABQ, advancing initiatives that promote cross-cultural understanding and international collaboration. A lifelong advocate for global engagement, Miguel first studied abroad in Spain at age 16 and has since participated in programs such as the Korea-America Student Conference and the Critical Language Scholarship. He is an active member and former leader of the Global Shapers Albuquerque Hub, where he leads community-driven projects on equity and development. Miguel holds a B.A. in International Studies and Spanish and an M.A. in Latin American Studies from UNM.
