Mark is a native of Albuquerque. He holds a Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of New Mexico and a Master of Arts in international relations from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University. He also studied Spanish at the Universidad de Guanajuato in Guanajuato, Mexico. He previously served on the board of the Nob Hill Neighborhood Association, and enjoys mentoring students at his church. He is passionate about cross cultural engagement and building ties between the United States and Latin America. Mark is excited to help strengthen bonds between Albuquerque and Guadalajara, as he has previously traveled there and the surrounding areas of Jalisco.
