Brooke Meisner grew up in the mountains East of Albuquerque. She attended APS mountain schools and she is currently a freshman at Manzano High School. Brooke is a varsity soccer player, she is active in Model UN, student government, and she is reestablishing the greenhouse garden at MHS. She participates in theater productions at the high school, and she has assisted in producing shows for Roosevelt Middle School. She volunteers in the Best Buddies program for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. She is also a student representative for the APS Academies of Albuquerque initiative. Brooke’s hobbies include cooking, baking, hiking, and she is an avid reader. Brooke is a dual citizen of Austria and the United States, and she is currently learning German.
